My fitness journey started February 27, 2014, when I met a guy, named Jon. That's the day that I hired the best trainer that there is. I was 278 pounds, a size 22 and couldn't walk up a flight of stairs without feeling like I was having a heart attack. Jon became my personal trainer and friend. He takes the time to get to know you as a person and what you want to achieve with your fitness goals. As long as you show up to every session wanting to be the best you can be, he will give you all his time and knowledge to get you to your fitness goal. I show up to every session giving 100 percent. It isn't always easy and we have some bumps in the road, but it's my commitment, hard work and discipline that keeps me coming back. I am so thankful to have such an amazing coach and a gym who supports me every day. I couldn't be happier!
Jake's story is coming soon!
Lance Cpl. Jake Henry was severely wounded in Afghanistan. Jon had the honor of training Jake post surgery to help build strength and mobility after multiple surgeries.
Several year's ago, Jon completed the Memorial Day Hero workout Murph, to honor Jake, wearing his original patches on his weighted vest. Murph consists of a 1 mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and another 1 mile run, all done consecutively.
We continue to thank Jake for his service!
